I'm pretty impressed as to how far along this thing is, and I'm jealous that I've not had any shed time recently, just waiting on a package from frog!

Keep up the good building work.

Thx, There's plenty left to do, like getting the gearbox built, Finishing off the liftkit, and more.

I'm aiming to get the engine started this weekend or the next depending on dave's availability and if i can get everything ready

How much extra did you have to pay for the thumbwheel ? If you look it will have a nissan logo on it - can get them from nissan wrecks for virtually nix. Of course it won't have Centre Diff written on it but will still work exactly the same. If you want a manual controller you can also buy a PWM (pulse width modulator) kit and build one yourself for about $50.

Or you could do what I did and get a Subaru controller with the complete gearbox

But yeah I believe these DCCDpro boxes are pretty swish in auto mode.

Looking good Guy

Hi guys,

Did some more work on the car. WHAT have i painted now???? LoL

First thing first, I got board working without musik so i made a Mauritian style Radio to keep me company, Works great

I started to work on the rear parts of the car. Removed the old lift kit. And yes for those who remember, i swapped the old trusted umbrella stand for stronger car stands!!

Next i cleaned the under-car with a high pressure karcher, let it dry and gave it a fresh coat of paint. No neither RED or YELLOW, i stuck with Grey Underbody coat paint

Next was to copy the 3inch kit and make my own 2 inch kit., $11 worth of bar, $8 to cut them from the supplier, and some great amateur Arc welding skills and VOILA!!!!

And finally, I got to install my new headlight kit, some might be jealous ( dobo ), some might detest it ( Paul ) but i got to install those
