No probs dude.. btw, if you don't have a clutch aligning tool then get it as close to the centre as you can and leave the pressure plate bolts loose (firm enough to stop the friction disc from moving) and then join the engine and box together and use the starter motor hole to do up all the pressure plate bolts once the engine and box are neatly married together

well i put my engine in yesterday with no clutch just too see if it will start, got it all hooked up cranked it over but no spark so then i spent the whole afternoon trying to get a spark but it didnt happen. so today i went to the shop and brought a new ignition relay in it started first shot

so now i gotta pull everything out again and sort out the clutch.
i gotta make a braket to mount the hydraulic clutch on the gearbox
sort out a clutch disk mite try the 1 i have out of a wrx
then i have to sort out an intake

Why? aren't you using the NA box? then you should be able to use the standard cable.

update

so today i was aiming to do everything on this list;
-put the engine back in
-put the cvs in and get the car rolling
-put the power steering pump in
-change over alternators
-put the radiator in
-and to trial fit the intercooler

as for the intercooler it is a really tight fit as you will see

and i finished all of it with no dramas

so here are some pics of todays efforts

Cool.. Great to see you're moving ahead with the conversion. About the TMIC, I'd use and earlier model WRX one or better still, use the proper RS WAIC that way you don't need a massive bonnet scoop.
