oh for god sake, do u all remember i said i had the engine out not long ago?
and when i did, i checked the throwout bearing and the input shaft did rattle a bit, the first clue of a input shaft bearing failure.
its not a dual mas flywheel, it's one peice i know what they look like!
the noise is slightly dampened when u select low range!!
its the Frikn gearbox allright!
christ, the spigot bearing and thrust bearing do absolutely nothign, NOTHING when the clutch is fully released. NOTHIGN AT ALL!!!
LEARN THIS NOW and never make the mistake again!!! im ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN OF THIS!!!
ARRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGh
Sorry i actualy mean no offence to anyone, u are all trying to help, thats what us aussies do, we share our brains, but let me share mine wtih u all, a fully released clutch, is designed to operate with no moving parts!!
why would car manufacturers design somethign fragile that moves 99.99999% of the time u drive!

Wink to"god"

(Only the true God deserves capital letters.) Did as suggested and re-read the original post. Rebuilder said that he was convinced that the fault was in the gearbox. Recall an old saying: " a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still ". Ho hum; time for my morning nap
