this page from my brumby build may help

    http://www.ausubaru.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=593

I currently have vortex rear shocks in my brumby they fit and make it way easier to cart stuff around

While the post shows MX5 shocks being put in place the first picture is of an "L" shock in place

this post shows the vortex shocks in place

the big problem with doing a suspension lift only on a brumby is the extreme angles on the CV joints which will cause big problems with your CVs very quickly

    Hey TOONGA,
Sorry to pester you but you seem very knowledgeable.
I've tried to search the forum using the search function and google but I can't find what I need so I thought I'd ask you.
Through my perusing and searching, a while back, I found a comment suggesting that either a L series or Leone suspension fits the Brumby giving you about 2" lift.
I can't find this comment again, and cant remember whether it was a Leone or L series.
Can you help me? My main goal is to gain 2" clearance (drive train). And I figure if I can get a whole car for about $600-$1000 I'd be able to use other things from the car and it would work out cheaper than buying a 'lift kit'.
Thanks in advance for your guidance or direction to the post.
